Trouble with BBMS hanging when processing a RE credit card batch

Anyone else having trouble with BBMS hanging when processing a RE credit card batch?

I know support is short-handed with the hurricane coming, but they said others had a similar problem and then left me hanging.

    We just received a donation through BBMS, but haven't batched the gift yet.  Are you not seeing your gift in RE?

  • Yes, this morning when authorizing a batch this happened. It was not responding, finally had to force close RE. Luckily the cards were authorized.

    We did experience some latency with batch processing yesterday that affected a few people. The good news is that we run a nightly process that updates the batches in BBMS if the calling application (Raiser's Edge in this case) fails to do so. It is best not to retry the batch until the next day to ensure the batch is not duplicated.
