Sharing information with volunteer solicitors

Hello all!


I am new to my role and overseeing a team of volunteer solicitors (parents/alumni/board members). They will select who they would like to solicit from a list and then I will share their group's relevant information, such as spouse information, child information, contact information, and gift information. My colleagues and I are weary of sending this personal and sensitive information via email and are also considering how to best portray that information. 


Can you recommend a report that gives a snapshot like I describe in a easily digestible way for volunteers? Also, what platform/method do you use for sharing sensitive information with volunteers?

  • First, design a confidentiality form that your volunteers have to sign.  :)


    Second, yes, you are correct, there is a canned RE report for this!  You will have to set up the template the very first time you do this, but....


    Go into the relevant Constituent record - then click on "File" in the menu bar.  Then go to either "Print" or "Export".... "Constituent Profile".  


    Once you set this template up, you should not need to set it up again unless you need a radically different report. It should work for both Indv. and Org. records.
