Fiscal Year Fund Breakdown by Month

Hello,


I have been given an assignment to create a query/report/export to show the breakdown by month of 3 different funds for the current fiscal year. After looking in query I don't think it is possible without exporting and manually doing it in excel. I believe it's going to be the same outcome with export. I have attached a sample below. Does anyone have any ideas?

I do monthly updates of our cash and pledges sorted per month. I use a Statistical Report (under Demographic and Statistical Reports) and have the Field set to "months in the year." I have one report for cash and one for pledges and I just plug the info into an Excel spreadsheet.


There probably is a way to do this in Crystal but I don't have the time or brain power to figure it out at the moment.

I ended up running a Fund Comparison Summary report. It only reports 8 periods so I had to adjust my dates. I just cut and pasted in excel.

You can do this with a Pivot table. Create your fund query and then
group on date by month. It can be run from Reports and will refresh
each time you run the report.

I suggest Reports --> Campaigns Funds and Appeals Reports --> Fund Comparision Summary


You can choose which funds, which time windows, which gift types etc.  It can be exported to excel if needed.  You have trying to do all the months together, so you may have to split it into two reports 6 months included in each.
