Cannot Export/Report on the Prospect Rating - Minimum Ask - NXT

Options
It's very frustrating to be able to see that there's a minimum ask amount available in the Prospect/Ratings tab of RE7 and not be able to export it in any way.  I wanted to use this to inform our suggested giving levels for annual fund donors.

Chat suggested that the only way to export it is to use the Reports/Profiles-Lists etc/Target Analytics Scores List report and click Export instead of preview.  It won't export for me, and finds multiple "invalid report" or "error" messages with no details. I finally tried previewing it instead, which finally said that "no records met the criteria."  Aha! This let me finally determing the phrasing I needed to find it in Knowledgebase. Turns out, Article #97901 says that you can only export Custom Modeling Service scores.  Not NXT ones.

So Chat didn't even know that I couldn't do what I wanted. angry

  • Amy, I've actually exported the NXT ratings before without issue, so this might be a 7.95 problem. I actually just tried again and had no issue, so I'm confused as to why you wouldn't be able to export this data. Tech support should be notified.

The frustrating thing about exporting these ratings, though, is that some records have more than others (you can only filter on category, not description, which is the field that differentiates between the different ratings in NXT, and thus won't all export with the same ratings in the same columns, which makes for a lot of clean-up work in Excel.

Thank you. I've gotten A/M/S ratings out before and I am not sure what version that was - only a few months ago. We are on 7.95 right now. But since then a few people's ratings have been individually resorted, so the Recommended donor type ratings are in the same column as the Overall Wealth Ratings. I can't be sure if someone has an A rating which type it's for - it seems to pull them out in the order they are on each record. I tested this again just now in case I misunderstood.  Torres had minimum ask amount in column C, and maximum ask amount in column D.  Appelbaum had Recommended donor type in column C, and minimum ask amount in column D. So if I try to use the minimum, I'm not going to get the right information. And if I try to use the maximum I'm missing out on the Appelbaum's potential because that's actually their minimum.

When I chatted with tech support they told me that the only way to get the Minimum Ask amount labeled as such (which is my goal) is to export the Reports/Profiles/Target Analytics Scores. But picking NXT scores were impossible. Then I found this article.  It says very clearly you can't get NXT scores through this report.

I hadn't realized that the sorting thing was an issue at the time, I just wanted to pick NXT into a particular column. That's what I mean by this being really frustrating.
