Getting certified showed me and my organization where I am with my knowledge and helped close a few holes that we didn't even know were there because we did not use some parts of RE, which we are now starting to look at.

I became certified right as I was starting a new position at a new organization and it was nice to be able to share that information with my new boss. Also, after having worked in RE for many years it was nice to just know that I had the knowledge that I thought I did.

I got certified for the first level in 2013. I have been trying to do the next level, but they have been working on it since then. Is the process easier? What does it entail? How much are they charging?

Hi Cheena! The fundamentals certification exam costs $100 I believe, however I was able to earn enough credits at http://champions.blackbaud.com/ to redeem for the exam.
