Required Info for Golf Foursome Registrants

I've recently created a online event registration page for our golf outing, and I am having trouble with the required Registrant Fields.


While we want to collect the information for all of the members of the Purchaser's Foursome if available, the majority of the time it is a company who is buying the Foursome and they are unsure who will be participating. Currently, Online Express requires that each of the Foursome Registrant must have the Last Name filled out. I know the purchaser can put TBD in the last name field and we would monitor when merging RE, but I was hoping someone else had a better work around.


I do not want to change the Foursome to 1 Registrant from 4 because if they do have the golfer's information we would like to collect it then.


Suggestions? I know Companies by Foursomes all the time for Golf Outings and have yet to fill their spots, so I feel I cannot be the only one with this problem.

We use the TBD and TBD for the first and last names.  I add viewable columns in the event Participants tab to show Participation (we use for Sponsor, golfer, Staff) and "Guest Of" Column.  That way you can see all the TBD, and the company that sponsored them for follow up.
