Membership specifying where to send benefits

I have some questions related to the Membership module:


When and where do I enter where to send benefits in the case of a gift membership?  I was told that before RE 7.92 there was an option to specify to send to Donor, Recipient or Both.  But after that version, things changed and now we aren't able to locate this.  I see something located on the Membershiop Transaction History window, but where is this set?


And where can I find on a record where cards were sent, in the case of a gift membership?

    Hi Chris,


    You can specify on the Membership record under the Benefits button. You can also define the defaults for Gifts of memberships under the Membership Category record in Configuration on the Default Benefits tab. 


    For tracking where the cards were sent, you could probably use an attribute to track this.

  • Thank you.  I believe our information isn't set up properly in Config>Membership Categories.  I've working with BB Support to get that straightened out.  After our last upgrade, things weren't specified as defaults, so there is nothing to change.  We need to work on that first.
