Streamlining donation pages?

Hi all! 

This is such a great community for questions - thanks for answering my last one. My latest question is - I doing a fundraiser for washing machines, and I'd like to send emails to two different groups of people. One who are general donors, and one to a group of special donors that typically donate large sums. I've had no problem setting up email distro lists to the two groups, but I'd like each group to be directed to a page with a different radio button option for the default gift. 

As in, I'd like the special donors to be prompted to give more money as the default gift, but I want the regular donors to be prompted for less money. Is there any way to do this without setting up two donation pages? I'd like to be able to use the thermometer function to tell the entire total from both pages (since these groups are funding the same thing). I guess what I would really like is an option to have different default gift settings for individual groups but pool the money in one spot, if that makes sense. It's kind of a hassle to update them both with the other page's total to get the full amount. Any ideas for a solution? Or maybe there's a different way I could have set this up? Or is this a feature that RE would be interested in adding in the future? 

Since we plan to use more and more segmentation in the future for email fundraising projects, I think it'd be really handy.

Hi Michelle!


I believe what you are looking for can be found in the last step of the donation form editor.  If you look on the right side, you will see a "What are Magic Links?" button.  Once you click this, you will see an option for "Links for giving levels" - this should be what you are looking for  There's also a link for more information regarding Magic Links under the "More cool tricks with Magic Links" which should help explain how to use these links.
