Creating an Email Drip Campaign

Hi All,



I am trying to create a welcome series drip campaign via netcommunity.  I need to send an email to a new sign up and then proceed to send a series of emails to them spread out at specific dates.   What is the best way to accomplish this since it doesn't seem to be an out of the box ability?

Hello Cody:



I needed to do something similiar: we have a welcome series of emails that go to new online donors, and I had to figure out a way to make the emails more or less automatic.  My solution: action tracks.



In NetCommunity I created daily scheduled emails with the welcome series (let's say Welcome 1, Welcome 2, Welcome 3 and Welcome 4). I have the schedule set up to send each email daily, which is tied to a list based on a RE query with the following parameters: Action Type = Welcome 1 and Action Date = Today



I then set up Action tracks that assigns new donors the action track. So while it isn't fully automated, all I have to do is assign the action tracks weekly to our new donors. Then the email series goes out on it's own.
