Event Registration 2 Required Fields

We have recently started to use Event Registration (New) part and find very frustrating the fact that even though the address in registrant options is ticked as required by default the county field is not made required (it's UK version of the address) and according to the bb support can not be made required without custom coding. What happens is that if a registrant skips this field (and they mostly do) but fill in the county in the payment part it is being treated  as 2 separate people during processing in BBNC plugin in RE. One which is made constituent (paying person) and second created just as participant and guest of the first one with registration paid. The only difference between these two is county field which is filled in on the payment part but not on the registrant part. If this field was made required there would be no differences and only one record would be created - as it should be.



Has anyone been able to find workaround?
