Have any hosted bbnc users gotten the 6.5.1 upgrade yet?

Just asking. We have not. Don't know when it's coming either.

  • We are split hosted, meaning we have our own RE/EE and Blackbaud hosts our BBNC. We just got upgraded to 6.51 this morning. Everything is good so far!
  • Hey Evan!

Not everyone that is hosted has gotten updated yet.

For those that host BBNC and RE with us we do these in waves. Hosting sends out an email to those sites that are getting updated when it gets close to your wave. If you have a critical issue that's fixed in the latest version, please create a support case and we'll look into bumping your site up. Otherwise hang tight and we'll get to you :)

If we host BBNC and you host your RE, simply create a case when you're ready for the update. Hosting has to coordinate a date with your IT staff, so we won't do these updates unprompted.

I hope that clears up the question regardless of your hosted situation.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Karen,

The fact that my "full site" link on our blackbaud-designed mobile site no longer functions in ios6 is what concerns me most. It is not scheduled to be fixed until 6.5.1. This means our entire middle school and our board of trustees, meeting this week, cannot access critical pages on our website via their ipads. The middle school has upgraded to ios6. Not sure about the board. Some probably have, others not. We've moved all board of trustee meeting agendas and supporting docs to the website (full site). Where do I sign up to be notified of these "known issues?"?

  • Hey Evan!

This is fixed in patch 4, which hasn't released yet for anyone. Updating you to 6.51 right now won't help. I let the analyst that has this case open with you know about this posting, and they'll be following up with more details as soon as we have them.

    Thank you!

  • Evan,

We received 6.51 and it's been okay so far. The e-mail editor is actually harder for me to use than before in formatting text. It is way more finicky. Otherwise, I don't notice too many differences.
