Is Site explorer not working quite right after an upgrade? Clear your browsers cache and cookies.

Options
Please note: The only potential effect is to the administrative parts of NetCommunity (Site explorer, editing pages). No action will be required by regular site visitors (constituents).

Following an upgrade it may be necessary to clear your browsers cache and cookies. Designing and editing a web page inside another web page relies heavily on javascript.

Some of this javascript can be cached across an upgrade and may cause issue. The only action required is to clear your browsers cache and cookies.

If you find, that after an upgrade (patch or whole version), Site explorer or other administrative parts of NetCommunity aren't working quite right, go ahead and clear your cache and cookies.

  • I had to do this on my desktop after our upgrade and clearing the cache and cookies worked. Now I'm having the same problem when accessing the admin site on my iPad -- Chrome and iOS browsers. I've cleared the cache and cookies but that hasn't helped.

    Any ideas?
  • Hey Kimbere,

Editing in NetCommunity is not supported on mobile browsers. If you're trying to edit, that's going to be the answer. If you're just viewing the site then I don't think this is the same thing as what is described above, and we'd want to review it with you in support. Because viewing should generally work.

    Thanks!

    Karen
