Transaction Manager part generating runtime error

So, today we noticed that our NetCommunity giving history page was generating a runtime error. After some testing we suspect that the Transaction Manager part is generating the error.



BB support noticed that our version of NetCommuntiy does not match our version of RE7 Web Service. They suggested upgrading our version of RE, but we're not entirely sure if this is the issue. We had a NetCommunity upgrade in the fall of 2013, and we have not come across this issue untill today.



Has anyone else expereinced something similar? I'm also wondering - if we need to upgrade, could be not just upgrade the RE7 Web Service component, and not our entire RE install? We are in a split-hosted environment as well.
