Importing Students/Parents in RE

Hi all!



It's that wonderful time of year where many of our schools are scrambling to import new students/parents into their Raiser's Edge database, and it can be quite a daunting task! I wanted to share a resource here on our Community about this process- an incredibly helpful blog written by one of our Senior Support Specialists, Miranda! Thank you! It's one of my overdue projects and will be doing for the first time in RE so will undoubtedly have questions. Actually wanted to see if anyone has a file showing fields imported to help me get a jump start.  Will also be scrambling to do VSE reports ... maybe that's another topic that coudl be addressed?

Thank you Kelsey for the link. I did some manual entry earlier in the month, so this will be good to know for future when we have more than just a handful to import.
