Consolidating constituent codes

Options

Help!  Long overdue database cleanup project getting underway.  We are collapsing an expansive list of constituent codes to something more reasonable.  We are concerned that some constituent codes have been built into reports over the years.  Is there a way to tell what constituent codes are used in reports so we can be sure to catch all the "loose ends" with this project?  Any guidance appreciated!  susan.zahn@vtmednet.org

    Hi Susan,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to know what constituent codes are used in reports unless you open each saved report and verify. This would be a great suggestion for our Idea Bank.

The most helpful way to clean up your codes will be to create queries and use a series of Global Changes. Of course be sure to backup your database before any type of Global Change is made.
