How do you use Raiser's Edge event module for an auction event?

Anyone used event module in Raiser's Edge to enter auction items?? Please help!!

    Anyone used event module in Raiser's Edge to enter auction items?? Please help!!

    For auctions, we enter the donated item with a gift type of gift-in-kind, subtype of "Event - Auction", and link it to the event record as "Other Donation."

    For the auction purchase, we enter it as gift type "Other" subtype "Event - Auction" and link it to the event as "Other Donation"
