Retrieve Address Info from Batch?

Options
Hello, We have a problem with a constituent from a Batch that has already been committed. We are not certain if the donor is an already existing constituent or not. We don't have the export with the original address information. Any way to retrieve the information originally submitted by the donor? Thank you!

    Talia,

Sorry but I'm not following your post.  Is this an issue with constituent batch or gift batch?  Are you BBNC?  What export are you referring to?  Was the info submitted online?  Or how did donor submit info?

So if it's a gift batch, what constituent record did the gift get credited to?  Or what happened?

    Can you clarify?

Thanks for your reply, JoAnn. I am trying to piece together what happened myself. I was not the one to download the batch and I also work remotely, so it is difficult for me to confer on it. We somehow lost the address/email information that was originally given at the time of the online donation. So there was nothing to refer to. Plus, there was confusion over the donor's name (a common first and last name). It got dropped into one of the potential constituent's records, but we couldn't be sure whom to credit. Does that make more sense? Thanks!

Try opening the gift, going to the attributes and copying the NetCommunity eReceipt URL to your browser address. This should download a pdf copy of the receipt with the address the donor originally entered in the gift.

Thanks for the reply, Michael. Unfortunately, there are no attributes present in the gift record... Is there somewhere else I can find this?

Talia: I don't know who processes your credit cards, but it's possible you can receive this information by logging into that site.

We use Blackbaud Merchant Services to process our NetCommunity payments. By logging into the BBMS site, I can see information on the donor.

Hindsight, I know... But we also set up a notification email for each gift we get.  You can set it up to be the same as the acknowledgment email the donor gets, or tailor it to your specific needs.
