Amending a recurring gift?

Hi all, we have recently carried out an upgrade campaign for our regular donors and I would like to amend the gift amounts for some recurring gifts. I looked on Knowledgebase and saw an article which mentions adding an amendment via the amendment tab (https://www.blackbaud.co.uk/kb/index?page=content&id=BB118815).

I cannot find this anywhere in the record or the gift itself. Can anyone tell me how I do this?

Alex, are you looking at the correct gift? you need to be looking at the gift with the gift type recurring gift - not any of the payments with the gift type recurring gift pay-cash. It is there as the second tab from the right.
