Postal Code Condition

Hi, 

Is there a way to set conditions for postal code? Such as a space in between P2N7E3 and a warning will pop out or set Postal Code with a required field of 7 characters which includes a space when manual entry or through RE import. We see no spacing between postal code become one of the duplicate creation reasons. I suppose it is something that VBA can do?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi Amy. The best way to enforce address formatting is to use AddressAccelerator, which includes Canadian addresses, to validate addresses against a database of recognized addresses. There is an idea on the Raiser's Edge Discovery page for enforcing a format without address validation in case you'd like to vote or add comments to it.
