Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation is currently recruiting for a Data Entry Specialist in our Corporate Offices in West Palm Beach, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

Position will be responsible for performing clerical and computer data input duties for the maintenance of donor and partient/family information. 

Essential Position Elements:   

Prepare and enter batches, applies or links gifts to event registration, pledges, recurring gifts or proposals, commits donations, prepares summary report fo balance to batch totals and generates journal reports.  Commit assigned daily batch of up to 75 units each day with minimal acceptable error rate.

Researches patient and patient family information, donor information, memorial/tribute information and notification information.  Accurately add information in database.

Creates merge files for donor acknowledgements and memorial tribute notifications from database program.  Research and respond to donor inquiries within set service standard.

Position Qualifications: 

High school diploma required with some college preferred.

Minimum of one year of data entry and word processing, preferably using a donor softward program such as Raiser's Edge.

Proficient computer skills in MS Word and Excel with knowledge of donor software.

Ability to work with and relate well to staff and individuals in the community in a sensitive, tactful manner.

Requires effective oral communication and writing skills, basic administrative, multi-tasking and team player skills.
