Receipts for Business with a different Fiscal then a Calendar.

Has anyone ever done a consolidated receipt for a business with the business' fiscal? What I'm looking for is a business that is consolidated & its fiscal year is May 1st to April 30th. They give monthly & want to be receipted for May to April. I'm in Canada, so I called Revenue Canada to see if it can be done & it can. I would have to do 2 receipts, one from May 1/13 to Dec 31/13 & the other one from Jan 1/14 to April 30/14. Has anyone ever done this before? How could you do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Maybe I'm missing something but on receipt function, it asks what gift dates to include.  Select 'specific range.'   Couldn't you just enter May 1, 2013 - Dec 31, 2013.  The consolidated receipt then should just show those gifts. 

    Seems like a bit of an odd request.  Another option would be to do an annual giving statement for them that lists each gift with date.

    You would also have the option to receipt them 4/30 and send them receipt for this part of the year.  When you do end of year receipts, it will automatically then only receipt May-Dec, the gifts not yet receipted.
