Estate Notes as pledges

Our auditors have us counting Estate Notes as pledges on our financials. To keep Raiser's Edge in line with the financials, we changed the Estate Notes from planned gifts to pledges. Now I am having trouble exporting total giving if I want to include Estate Notes but not the other pledges. Is anyone else treating them as pledges? How is it working for you?

    We do not have the planned gift module. I use gift subtype for what we call future commitments as our auditors will not allow us to record Estate Notes on our financials. I than use query to pull in or suppress 'estate/future commitments' for reporting. Hope this helps.
