Delete Letter from a Gift Record

I created a single letter directly from a gift record, but I am not going to use it. How can I delete the entry on the "Letters sent to Jane Doe" screen?  I don't want this letter tied to her record in RE if it was never used for her.  I can't find an option for this in the gift record or the Admin panel.

Do you mean the action tab or the letter icon on the bottom of the gift record? If you mean the action tab, then first you have to have administrative right to delete actions.  I am not positive, but I believe the action is linked to that icon anyway (when you save the letter as an action after merging) and when the action is deleted the icon would be as well.

There's no way that I'm aware of to delete a letter listed if your referring to the list you get when clicking the 'letter' box on a gift record.  There's no way to remove a reminder either.  Both areas could use the option to delete in my opinion.

Agreed - it should be an option. Anyone know if it has been posted to the Discovery site yet as an idea for change in RE?
