CHAI is finding an Analyst, Health Financing

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is looking for a Health Financing Analyst to support CHAI's to the government of Zambia in addressing challenges and planning for sustainable financing within the health sector, along with providing technical assistance in optimizing use of financial resources available for health. CHAI works in close partnership with the Ministry of Health (MOH) providing technical assistance in a variety of areas such as human resources for health, access to HIV/AIDS treatment and care, operational research, and health financing amongst others.

 

The Health Financing Analyst will report to the Health Financing Program Manager and will provide critical support to the government. The Analyst will be a part of a team that works very closely with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Community Development & Mother and Child Health, as well as the National AIDS Commission and the National Malaria Control Program, cooperating on a regular basis with donors, partner organizations, NGOs and civil society. The Health Financing Analyst will be called upon primarily to support these efforts analytically. Please note that the contract for this position is until December 2013 with likelihood of renewal on grant extension.
